Hair Extension Training North West was founded by industry expert Laura Malee. We deliver specialist courses that transform individuals of any level into Hair Extension Professionals. The academy is inspired by a passion for extensions and knowledge within the industry.
With over 15 years of hair extension experience, Laura used her expertise to design highly informative and interactive training courses. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a qualified hairdresser you’ll learn everything you need to know in a style that suits you. We offer VIP One-to-one, Small Group Training, in salon training or online courses.
The Team
Laura Malee
Laura Malee is the founder of Laura Leanne and Co Hair Salon and Academy. Laura has worked in the industry for over 15 years. Laura has worked for some amazing names such as Toni & Guy, Wella, Matrix, Beauty works, Easilocks and Racoon International.
Laura has also won competitions such as Wella trend vision and raccoon International extensionist of the year.
Laura is constantly keeping up on her training to include all the latest techniques and trends, and also holds an MCA degree in colour. Laura has always had the passion and drive for hair extensions and her extensive clientele speaks volume to how fantastic she is at doing what she loves.
Linda Meller
Linda has been in the hairdressing industry since 1995, Linda successfully opened a TONI&GUY Salon in Wigan in 2003. Linda specialises in hair extensions such as Racoon and Easilocks.
Linda’s career highlights so far include opening a TONI&GUY and making it into the success it is today, she has now opened her very own Salon in the area. Linda has worked at London Fashion Week and on the 2007 TONI&GUY collection with Gary France and his team.
She has also won numerous awards including the Wella Spotlight Competition. Linda has been nominated for Director of the Year for 3 consecutive years.
Linda has a salon leadership degree, a teaching degree, and she is an ambassador for Easilocks, trained in all hair extensions methods including mesh integration.
